  • Inspired by Falling Leaves

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Autumn is my favorite season! I’m a big-time “leafer”. I love Autumn leaves…so much so that I don’t think I could live in a place that didn’t have fall foliage.

I’m lucky to live in an area that has so much Autumn leaf variety. These are just a sampling of the leaf variety I found within a 3 block radius from our home in Philadelphia the day before the storm.

I really am a kid in a candy store when it comes to Autumn leaves. I get so excited when I see a beautiful red or orange tree. I am completely smitten by the way the light sparkles and bounces off the brightness of the leaves!

  • Inspired by Succulents: The Photo Edition

Just a little additional proof that I have been admiring succulents for some time now! These photos were all taken during separate trips to Terrain. I think that Terrain adores succulents as much as I do!

One of the unique attributes of succulents is that they do not need a lot of soil to live in, so there are a lot of options in which to display your succulents…on a log, on a piece of slate, or in a pot. This is perfect in preparation for wedding reception table settings. This would be a beautiful “green” way to spruce up your table setting. I’ll have more succulent wedding decor ideas later in the week, so stay tuned!

  • Inspired by Succulents

I have been smitten with succulents for a few years now. They come in such interesting colors and look like flowers….but aren’t. They are understated and cute. Yes, “cute” might be the most appropriate word for this particular succulent.

I also did a commissioned watercolor succulent with a completely different color palette. You can view that painting here.
