Made my Day

I got out to vote today…did you? Am I the only person that has adrenaline pumping through their body when they are waiting to vote? And then when I’m walking out of the poll station, I feel this awesome sense of accomplishment and pride…it is almost euphoric honestly.

Have an incredibly spooky Halloween everyone! Steer clear of the spiders!

Apple orchards are a must-visit during the fall season for my husband and I. We are very lucky to have a good selection of orchards to choose from in the Philadelphia area. There is something so special about picking fruit off the tree. The only thing you need to watch out for…bringing home too many apples! Picking apples can be so enjoyable it is easy to go overboard!

I love the photo of the hawk I captured in the second photo and how it juxtaposes with the photo of my husband pointing upwards at the sky.

It is still wet here on the East Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, but I’ve decided to keep my mind preoccupied with reminiscing about sunny trips to the orchard.
