Pinned: Hand-drawn Type
Lately I’ve been very inspired by hand-drawn and hand-painted type. Over the weekend I created a new Pinterest board named Hand-written Lettering to store all of this inspiration. Above is only a snapshot of the inspiration pinned!
There is something so beautiful about hand-written type, when done well. It really is a talent. Hand-painted lettering is a skill I’m dabbling in currently because it will take my invitation designs to a new hand-painted level. As you can see above, the type of hand-written type I’m especially attracted to is script (or cursive). It has a loose flow to it which is so gorgeous!
