A little Autumn beauty for your nearly-fall Friday! We are now offering an add-on option for the Autumn Reflections invitation to add a little gold shimmer to your invitation and RSVP card. The shimmer is glorious in the light while exuding a down-to-earth feel in the same way Autumn shows its glorious colors around this time of year and yet leaves a earthy, rooted quality in all of us.

Our Whale’s Tale: A Nantucket Wedding

Two days after Labor Day, the unofficial last day of summer, and I’m still reminiscing on some of the creative custom beach-themed thumbprint guestbooks I have been lucky enough to work on these past few months.

Our Whale’s Tale guest print certainly tops the most creative requests I have received from a bride. Andria and Gene got married earlier this summer in beautiful Nantucket. The vision for this print is for guests to place their thumbprints in the water surrounding the whale. I love when couples have unique ideas on ways to personalize their weddings! This custom Whale’s Tale guest print is sure to be a keepsake for years to come, and that really warms my heart!

Jennette’s Pier Custom Thumbprint Guest Print

I have had the wonderful opportunity to work on some custom thumbprint guestbook projects this past summer. One example is a request from Jennifer who got married in June at the beautiful Jennette’s Pier in North Carolina.

This custom thumbprint guest print was inspired by the Hand-Painted Weddings Beach Thumbprint guest print, where the guests thumbprints act as the footsteps leading to the water and the pier.

This print was also special because it was printed on a canvas. A canvas print is another option for the couple to hang the piece afterwards without framing.

To keep the pricing affordable for my clients, I change the dimensions of the print in order to print to a standard sized canvas (like 11″ x 14″ or 16″ x 20″). If you are interested in your own custom thumbprint guest print, please contact me here.
