Inspired by Earth Day, I have created this wedding invitation that seconds as art making it a green way to send your paper invitations. This double-sided Earth Day wedding invitation features a painting of a landscape with lush green grass and tree on one side which your guests can frame as art. The other side features the traditional wedding invitation art.
I love the saying “Our Story Begins Here” because I truly believe that the wedding starts with the invitation, making it one of the most important visual decisions of your wedding.
I’m very excited to offer this invitation to be printed on 100% Recycled Paper with an option for 100% Recycled White envelopes.
Customized projects come in all shapes and sizes. This one was a variation on the Cinderella Invitation set in Hand-Painted Weddings Shop. This invitation was for a happy couple who was going to have their vow renewal in magical Disneyland. The colors in this invitation changed from light blues to pinks, and the cards were printed on a pearlescent paper giving it a very ethereal shimmer. The outer envelope was also a beautiful pearlescent envelope to match. I love how this invitation came out!
Saving the best for last! Check out this creative idea—have a decorate your own painted cookie station! It is the perfect touch for a gallery wedding to get the guests involved in a very unique way. The cookies can be part of the dessert or it can be the favors, with bags on the side to bring home. It is such an easy way to bring a playful, artistic element to your wedding.
I gleefully worked on this project with the very talented Zoe from Whipped Bakeshop. It was so much fun working together to create these wild pink and purple brushstrokes in each of our appropriate mediums—mine paper and hers dessert. The cake is unbelievably beautiful with its light brushstrokes on the top and the touch of gold foil around the layers.
