I gleefully worked on this project with the very talented Zoe from Whipped Bakeshop. It was so much fun working together to create these wild pink and purple brushstrokes in each of our appropriate mediumsâ€â€mine paper and hers dessert. The cake is unbelievably beautiful with its light brushstrokes on the top and the touch of gold foil around the layers.
I do hope you enjoyed Gallery Wedding week and are inspired to bring a hand-painted touch to your wedding, whether at a gallery or if you are an artist looking to incorporate your art into your wedding! If you missed it, be sure to check out the other posts this week: Truly a Painterly Touch, Two Wedding Locationsâ€â€Two Outfits, Quiet Moments Together, and a Gallery Ceremony.
Note: If you like the look of this wedding, be sure to check out the Gallery Paint Brushed Invitation by Hand-Painted Weddings which was inspired and created for this shoot.
