• Hand-Painted Pumpkin Reception

This has been a busy week/weekend, but I didn’t want you to miss out on the Hand-Painted Pumpkin Reception ideas which completes Pumpkin week, so here is a rare Sunday night post.

Whether white or orange, whether painted, decoupaged, or naked, pumpkins are a beautiful element to add to your festive fall wedding. They work beautifully as escort cards, in table settings, or lining the aisle at your ceremony. They would also be very cute as guest gifts.

Pumpkins can be paired with their traditional counterpart colors, burgundy and plum, or they can be paired with bright, cheerful colors like fuchsia and bright green. If you opt for white pumpkins, they pretty much go with any color palette, but look particularly great with neutrals like beige, brown, and black.

  • Hand-Painted Pumpkin Invitations

The Hand-Painted Pumpkin Invitation features a couple of orange pumpkins, one a bit smaller than the other. As I had stated before I think that the stems are the most interesting part of a pumpkin so I really zoomed in on the upper half of the pumpkin on the right in the invitation design. I think the design is cheerful but in a quiet Autumn sort of way.

It is also the first Hand-Painted Shop Invitation that includes your very own hand-painted lettering for your names. The Pumpkin Invitation is now available for ordering.

  • Ghost Pumpkin

The ghost white pumpkin is a bit eerie, isn’t it? I suppose that is part of its charm. Arguably, the white pumpkin is more appropriate for Halloween than say an orange pumpkin that really feels very Autumn spirited.

As I said in yesterday’s post, this year is the first year we have purchased a white pumpkin. To be honest, the stem is my favorite part (the stem is always my favorite part)! This particular stem is great because of its overall shape and that it spiral spins at the tip as it stretches upwards.

I love how the white pumpkin pops from the black and violet background on the painting on the right.
