    Ombres, coral pinks, and unexpected dip-dyed elements decorate the Hand-Painted Romantic Lace Reception.     I think that is my favorite bit about this inspiration board. It can be very monochromatic and feminine, or it can transition to a more approachable, effortlessly elegant look, which would be perfect for a more casual wedding, with the addition of a few textural accents. All in all, this is a wonderful reception style for your spring or summer wedding.

    Do you feel the romance in the air? The day before Valentine’s Day always brings a little bit of excitement as couples prepare for the next day’s excursions. This year my husband is planning a surprise night, so I am particularly curious and excited about what that could mean!

    Inspired by the romance this time of year brings, I designed a VERY romantic wedding invitation with a pink and red watercolor wash background, an overlay of white lace and wistful script text….oh yes, and a heart graphic adorning the text.

    The heart graphic may be too gushy for you, so this detail can be omitted if you choose to order the Romantic Lace Invitation. A little background on the heart graphic….it has a great texture that reminds me of two thumbprints making a shape of a heart. It was fun watching couples sign the Cobblestone Thumbprint Guestbook at the Lovesick Expo, because the majority of the couples signed their thumbprints next to each other like a heart.
