Hand-Painted Weddings is stoked to be chosen as a vendor at the Lovesick Expo in Philadelphia for the 4th year in a row!
I love this event. It is unique, creative, and offbeat, and I admire and encourage every couple who decides to personalize their wedding with unique touches! This is just why I love the couples who attend the Lovesick Expo. Also the guys at Lovesick Inc. along with Offbeat Bride put on a really great show. It is a wildly fun time, and you won’t want to miss it!
I can’t wait to meet some of you readers on January 10, 2016!
I am super stoked to be amongst the coolest wedding talent in Philly at the Lovesick Expo on January 11 at World Cafe Live. Hand-Painted Weddings has been chosen as one of the featured vendors for three years in a row, and we are so honored! The Lovesick Expo is not only the most fun wedding show you will ever attend, but it is bursting at the seams with talent, creativity and unique ideas. It truly is unlike any other wedding show you will go toâ€â€there are burlesque dancers (enough said), live music, drinking, and an overall acceptance of unique wedding choices.
I love being a part of this expo because it introduces me to couples who are truly looking to make their wedding personal and unique. There are a lot of indie wedding couples and couples looking for alternative options. I also love that this expo is very consciously accepting to all sorts of couples not matter if it is same sex or not, and it has been even before same sex marriage became legal in PA this past May.
Still not convinced? Then check out the Lovesick video featuring footage from last year’s event here. Trust meâ€â€you won’t want to miss this event!
Date: January 11
Time: 11 am – 3 pm
Location: World Cafe Live
Tickets: $10 online/$15 at the door
Also, sources say there will also be a 50% ticket discount offer on the Offbeat Bride blog!
Yes, that’s right! Hand-Painted Weddings has been chosen as a featured vendor amongst a slew of talent for the next Lovesick Expo in Philadelphia. The expo is on January 12, 2014. I couldn’t be happier!
Being a vendor at Lovesick last year was such a highlight! It was so much fun getting to interact with loads of prospective customers and getting to learn more about what interested them about my products. This year Offbeat Bride has connected with Lovesick Expo so I am excited to see how this fantastic, fun expo continues to grow.

Lovesick Expo Philadelphia was everything I had hoped it would be and more! I loved meeting couples and hearing their feedback about my work and getting excited with them about the possibilities for their wedding day. I loved watching people “sign” the Cobblestone Thumbprint Guest print with their thumbs. I loved being side-by-side with other super nice talented wedding vendors. I adored getting to meet photographer Krista Leigh Hurst, who I recently worked on an exciting project on…more on that soon. It was so excited to meet the bride who won my veil giveaway a couple of weeks ago, and to catch up with Chrissy from Truly You Events, who I’m currently working with on an awesome backyard wedding invitation suite for a couple. I loved meeting the woman who won the Hand-Painted Cobblestone Thumbprint Guest Print, and seeing how excited she was to have won! I appreciate all the support from my family and friends, and particularly the man by my side always (and at this event), my husband, Carl! Ok, enough gushing! Here is a little recap (with pictures, descriptions below)!
Here is my table and backdrop at the expo. Everything turned out beautifully!
A little close-up of my table details along with a photo of my helper and partner, Carl.
The live music was awesome. The event really is the coolest event for weddings! I even caught the burlesque dancers this year! I enjoyed talking with people as they perused my portfolio of invitations and save-the-dates!
Tom and Jon, the two incredibly nice guys who run the Lovesick Expo are having a blast calling out the raffles. I was very excited to raffle off the Cobblestone Guest print in this raffle! 100% of raffle proceeds benefited Children Can Shape the Future, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Here I am standing with Carl at the table and then holding up the “signed” Cobblestone Thumbprint Guest print.
I had an awesome day! Thank you so much for those of you that came out for the event! And those of you that are new to my blog, please be sure to follow Hand-Painted Weddings on Facebook to stay up-to-date on new offerings and Shop invitation designs.
Here is a sneak peak of my table at the Lovesick Expo, which is this Sunday in Philadelphia! The theme of this styled table is romantic with painterly details. The beautiful blue tea cup and saucer were my late grandmother’s. The birch column on the right is a candle holder I just purchased from Terrain. There is a dip dyed table runner going across the table, and paint brushes and paint scattered throughout the table.
It appears that I did the Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed (the racks for the backdrop are rented), Something Blue in my tablescape, which seems super appropriate, don’t you think! Funny how things like that happen by “accident”!
I can’t wait to meet new friends, colleagues, and couples on Sunday at the Lovesick Expo! I hope to see you there! I’ll be the one in a striped dress at the Hand-Painted Weddings table!
